Hello blogging world!!!
I was super excited to be blogging again. I used to write a blog called, "Life According to D" and it wasn't very popular LOL!! Anyhoo life got in the way and I decided to give it another go. This blog will differ because it will mostly focus on the life of a teacher. That's right folks I am going back to teaching. However, I wont be teaching sweet little 4 year old lovebugs; I will be teaching moody (hopefully funny) 5th grade lovebugs (Cue the hallway scene from The Shining). O.K I'm kidding about The Shining scene......kind of......not really......maybe ;)
So with that being said I am very excited about school and decorating a classroom for the "Big Kids" as I refer to them and I'm sure they'll hate it LOL. The theme of my room is bright and fun because I hear middle schoolers like to sleep a lot and that is not going down in Mrs. Lamoureux's room because I'm tough grrr!!! Who am I kidding? I sound like Minnie Mouse even when I yell!
This post is short and sweet just to update the blog world and I so look forward to sharing pictures of my classroom, organization tips, work clothes and fun lesson plans!!
